The sandy beaches around the lake ,
Plage du Rey, Plage Blanche, Plage des Chênes-Lièges, Plage du Parc. (lifeguards on the plage blanche)
are easy to access, have limited parking and are ideal for the kids and for picnics in the shade of the pine trees. (If you prefer the Atlantic waves look at Hossegor beaches)
The 6km beautiful walk around the lake is lined with information boards, and is exclusively reserved for pedestrians.
You will see examples of the rich architecture of the resort as well as explanations on the salt-lake, birds, fish, oyster ...
